Introduction Patients hospitalized in the case of COVID19 have had to face a complex and potentially very stressful situation. In this context screening program for psychological distress patients with is necessary. Objectives To screen post-traumatic stress disorder post identify epidemiological clinical factors correlated patients. Methods A descriptive analytical cross-sectional study that took place during period from 1 st March 15 th May 2021 154 who were at unit Hedi Chaker Hospital Sfax. We used pre-established form record sociodemographic, therapeutic data. The was assessed by “Impact Event Scale-Revised”. Results mean age 66.62 ± 13.34 years male predominance 60.4%. our sample, 77.9% somatic history, which hypertension most frequent pathology (46.1%). average length hospitalization 9.5 days 6.3. considered severe 27.9 cases. According IES-R scale, twenty-one (13.6%) disorder, women (57.1%). significant association found between marital status disorder. Thus, married or widowed are more likely develop PTSD. present study, we did not find statistically associations characteristics disease (severity disease, hospitalization, functional signs) Conclusions Psychological support interventions surviving COVID 19 necessary aiming increase resilience, manage coping strategies decrease deleterious impact pandemic on mental health.
